The Beginning of Sorrows
Published on October 26, 2006 By SonofZebedee In Religion
When I listen to people speak of the civil wars being waged all over the world and the involvement of the United States of America, I often say to myself the Bible is fulfilling its prophecies. By this I mean according to Matt. 24: 6-8. This is what it says: "And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places."
All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Aren't we seeing these things occurr now? We as christians ought to be praying ferverenty asking God for forgiveness and mercy for the sins of this country, and our leaders, past, present and future. We`ve done a lot to ask forgiveness for and a lot to be grateful for. We seem to be getting further and further away from our religious principles this country was founded upon. What do you think or how do you feel about this ?

There have been wars and rumors of wars, nations rising up against each other, plagues, famines, earthquakes in diverse places, pestilence all over the place and countless other things the bible mentions since the dawn of time. Matter of fact, 'prophets' have been saying "repent, then end is nigh!" since the dawn of time too.

The end hasn't come yet.
